1. Description of Service

Content Checker AI provides AI-powered tools to analyze written content, including:

  • AI Detection: Identifying patterns and markers that suggest AI-generated content
  • Voice Matching: Comparing submitted text against writing samples to verify authorship
  • Humanization: Suggesting edits to reduce AI detection signals while preserving meaning
  • Reporting: Providing detailed analysis reports with evidence and confidence scores

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Content Checker AI only for lawful purposes. See our Acceptable Use Policy for detailed guidelines. You must not:

  • Use the service to harass, defame, or harm others
  • Submit content you do not have the right to analyze
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, circumvent, or manipulate our detection algorithms
  • Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the service
  • Resell or redistribute our service without authorization

3. Intellectual Property

3.1 Your Content

You retain all intellectual property rights to content you submit to Content Checker AI. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process, analyze, and store it solely to provide our service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

3.2 Our Service

Content Checker AI, including our software, algorithms, user interface, and branding, is our proprietary property and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our service.

4. Disclaimers and Limitations

4.1 Service Accuracy

AI detection is not 100% accurate. Our service uses advanced algorithms to identify AI-generated content, but false positives and false negatives can occur. Results should be used as one data point among many, not as definitive proof.

4.2 No Warranties

Content Checker AI is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

4.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Content Checker AI and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the service
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
  • Any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in our analysis
  • Any decisions made in reliance on our service

Our total liability for all claims related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

5. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.

6. Payment and Subscriptions

6.1 Fees

Some features of Content Checker AI require a paid subscription. Current pricing is available on our website. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

6.2 Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on each billing cycle.

6.3 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial months or unused service, except where required by law.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of Content Checker AI is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Modifications to Service and Terms

8.1 Service Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

8.2 Terms Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on our service. Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the service ceases immediately
  • We may delete your data in accordance with our data retention policy
  • Provisions that should survive termination (disclaimers, limitations of liability, governing law) will continue to apply

10. Governing Law and Disputes

10.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

10.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Content Checker AI shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Boston, Massachusetts, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Content Checker AI and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another party
  • Content you submit to the service

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Cookie Policy, and Data Processing Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Content Checker AI regarding your use of the service.
